Train Hard, Do More, Be More

It’s Tuesday! The week continues to move! I was originally setting out to write today’s bite on a completely different topic, but I feel compelled to talk about Pushing, Training and moving beyond your comfort zone. This applies in business and in life.

Today – leg day! I actually love leg day because I feel it works on my core, my stability, my balance just as much as it pushes my legs hard.

The past week, I have become increasingly stronger and I have been able to handle more work on Leg Day (which tends to be our toughest day all week).  Every challenge I’ve been able to handle, Every new workout I’ve tackled …

…then there was today …

Today was different. Teresa pulled out the stops, she pushed my body to the limit. Light headed, dizzy, sweat dripping down my arms, heart pumping, short of breath. Everything you could describe as utter exhaustion.

Holy heck! A fellow fitness competitor, Lexia (oh and check out her on Instagram too! She’s for the love of Vegan!) came over and gave me the strength and courage to keep pushing. Saying “we’ve all been there”

Total Burn Out! Total pushed through the limits and the roof. Total failure.  Total.

When you look at the shows like Biggest loser and you see those contestants going to failure and then you figure out what that means … you have so much respect, so much utter awe for the amount of work, the amount of effort and the amount of heart that goes into every workout.

When I started this journey with Teresa, I really had no idea what to expect. Every day changes, every workout is different. Every day I become more impressed with the sport, with the commitment and with the dedication.

When you look at a magazine and you see well put together, strong women (and men) sporting great physiques we (especially us women) think “they just have great genes” or “this is all photo shopped” or “I can’t get that”

Some may be genes, yes.  Some things we see are photo shopped ..sure… but the reality is this ..

THESE WOMEN (and men) TRAIN HARD! And they follow high nutrition protocols and they fuel their body with the appropriate amount of electrolytes to aide in recovery. They want it so they work for it.

Whether you want to go on a physical transformation or take a journey that is new and different and exciting to you, or whether you are pushing to build a fantastic business and achieve your dreams …

Remember!

…. It’s One day at a time! … You MUST follow a plan … you MUST take action … you MUST push beyond comfort and FAIL … truly FAIL to learn more, be more, do more, see more, love more, have more, enjoy more!

With that! I wish you a great day! Train Hard! Be all that you can be for you! Set out a plan, take action and GO FOR IT! You deserve it … and way more!
