Protein packed pineapple bar recipe using Crave It grain free honeylicious snackers and Do You Bake? gourmet vanilla extract from our artisan line of baking extracts.

Create a delicious and sweet tooth satisfying dessert packed with protein. These yogurt bars pack over 12g of protein per serving as prepared.

Ingredients

1 Box - Honeylicious Snackers (prepared per box directions) ; crumbled

2 tbsp Butter or coconut oil (melted)

3/4 cup light cream cheese, softened

2 eggs (large)

1/4 cup sugar or natural sugar substitute

1/3 cup crushed pineapple (undrained)

2 tsp Vanilla Essence Aristan Gourmet Baking Extract (from Do You Bake?)

3/4 cup plain greek yogurt

1 egg white

Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Meanwhile, line a 9x9-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving an inch of overhang on all sides. Press crumb mixture evenly into the baking pan. Bake for 7-8 minutes. Remove from the oven, set aside.

3In a stand mixer with a whip attachment, beat the cream cheese on high until smooth. Reduce speed to medium, and add yogurt. Beat until thoroughly combined. Add eggs and egg white, and mix. Add pineapple, sugar, and DYB Vanilla Essence Artisan Gourmet Baking Extract. Mix until everything is thoroughly combined and smooth in texture. Ensure that there are no lumps.

4Transfer filling onto the baking pan with the crust. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the center of the pan has set. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool, at least 30 minutes. Transfer to the refrigerator and cool overnight. Once cool, lift the bars out of the pan using the overhanging foil. Cut into squares.
