Friday Inspiration and Motivation!

Your dream might be outside this zone

Happy Friday!

This post is dedicated to all those at the World Gym where I have been training and taking on the 18 week train like a body builder challenge with Teresa Bragado.

I think the greatest thing we can give to someone else is the ability to inspire and help and motivate and show someone that anything is possible when they believe in themselves.

I am and have been on this quest to shadow a bodybuilder, train like a bodybuilder to show that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and are committed to your long term change. It takes time. I am doing this 100% natural, with real food.  It is hard sometimes to go day to day not really understanding how much you have changed or the impact you have on other people, until you run smack dab into an inspiring Friday.

A half dozen people walked up to me today telling me I was their inspiration. They have been watching me and are inspired. I had folks walk up to me or stop me and ask me when I’ll be the trainer next.  I had others walk up to me and say they see massive change and they are pushing just a little harder because they see how hard I push.

Motivation! Inspiration! You have to dig deep inside yourself. You have to want it. No matter what it is in life. You have to want it. No one can want it for you. And then you have to do it. No one can do it for you. You have to do it!

Find your inspiration when you try to achieve something awesome.  Then hold onto all your mentors and your friends for support and don’t be shy to ask for help. Ask for it! Believe me, they are willing to give that to you.

In turn, pay your inspiration forward! Be kind! Be nice! And help others. When someone wants what you want, be their motivation, their motivator and their champion in their corner. Give back what you get.

My quest has always been to challenge myself and to give back. I want to give back and inspire anyone to eat a little healthier, ditch the fake additives, ditch the ridiculous fad diets and the unrealistic ‘do this in 30 day’ promises.  Lets get back to basics, learn to love food, love life and enjoy all our accomplishments. I want to be your inspiration and your supporter and your champion. Follow me, connect with me, laugh with me and tell me all about your journey!

Oh and hey – its OK to look ridiculously funny and uncoordinated! I have! and continue to as I try new exercises and ways of training!! Fall off and get back on! Its not how hard you fall remember, its how high you spring back!

Today, I challenge you to just start! Just start eating an extra serving of vegetables, an extra serving of healthy protein and move a little!

Dream! Dream big! Reach for it! It just may not be that far away!!!
